Huri Tai: Huri Au
Kelly Moana Murphy
Huri Tai: Huri Au is an invitation to observe the cycles of the outer world (Huri Tai – the turn of the tides) and our inner world (Huri Au – the turn of ourselves). A perpetual maramataka wheel, with the addition of an ikura wheel, provides a guide for each upcoming cycle and a point of reference for observing how the day or phase has been for you.
An introduction to the resource will include a short meditation and movement practice to return to centre—connecting with Papatūānuku and ourselves. This will be followed by a kōrero on how to utilise the resource, along with an open question and kōrero time.
I welcome anyone with curiosity and a willingness to explore and observe their own rhythms in connection with those of the outer world to join and play. Nau mai haere mai.
I am a mama, wahine o te moana, student of whakapapa, and lover of living in connection. I believe we have all the answers we need inside, and my offerings/resources are invitations to listen deeply—to ourselves and the Taiao.
