We are Batu-cada Tai Rawhiti. The call of the beating drums, like an ancient heartbeat, has brought together a beautiful collaboration of souls from Brazil, Chile, South Africa and Aotearoa. Our music is a vibrant celebration of cultures, rhythms, sounds and songs from Africa, South America and Aotearoa. Through our music we honour our indigenous heritage, Shamanic traditions and deeper connection with Papatuanuku. We transmit the pulsation and power of these timeless connections through our beating drums, percussion, voices, sounds and the medicine of dance. Opening hearts and souls to the energy and magnetism of this medicine.
