SUPPORT
EARTH
BEAT
Earth Beat is a not-for-profit organisation.
Earth Beat is distinct from many festivals in that we are independent and run as a not-for-profit. This means that that we do not execute activities and events for profit or gain. All proceeds from the festival are used for the benefit of the community and the land. In the past, this has involved participation in planting projects, involvement with restoration of Ātiu Creek and the Kaipara (particularly through providing a platform and supporting environmental groups in the region), funding arts and culture in the local community and country-wide, enabling greater participation in arts and culture for whānau in the area.
Your support helps protect Earth Beat’s independence and it means we can keep delivering quality events that empower and inspire new and regenerative ways of living.
With the shifts we are seeing in the world, our kaupapa feels more relevant than ever before. We are continuously exploring how we can strengthen our kaupapa so that together we can have a greater impact. This is especially pertinent given the issues we face—extreme global inequality and desecration of our mother earth.
