IN-FESTIVAL APPLICATIONS HAVE CLOSED.
Earth Beat Festival is well known for having an exceptional culture when it comes to how we treat our volunteers. We have taken many steps to ensure that all members of our volunteer family are well cared for throughout the festival. If you have volunteered at other festivals before, this will be different from any other festival volunteer experience you have ever had. If you are new to festival volunteering, fantastic, we welcome you to the family!
The Exchange
In-festival volunteering starts on with a fun training day on Tuesday 18th of March and ends on Sunday 23rd March. Arrival for volunteers is on Monday 17th March in the afternoon. There will be a welcome dinner that evening and an orientation and training day on Tuesday 18th of March. We prioritise volunteers that can commit to being an in-festival volunteer for the entire duration of the festival. Of course we appreciate that people can’t always commit the whole time so please don’t be discouraged from applying if you can’t make it for every day of the festival.
To confirm your place you will be kindly asked to purchase a $250 in-festival volunteer ticket. $90 is kept as a contribution towards food & treats, the remaining $160 will be refunded after the festival upon completion of the exchange.
We aim for volunteer shifts to be an average of 4 hours per day, and never exceeding 5.. Please note that this is our ultimate goal but actual shift times may vary.
All volunteers receive breakfast & 1 meal (lunch OR dinner) on the days they work and will have free camping (tents recommended) and access to all free workshops, music and dance activities available at the festival outside of shift times.
You also have the option to attend the crew party held on the night after the festival ends. Awesome deal right?!

After you apply you will be emailed and kindly asked to deposit $250 to secure your spot. The email will have all the deposit information. Once your deposit is received you’re part of the team!
Important T’s & C’s
Volunteer spaces are limited so please apply and pay your deposit early to avoid disappointment. You can make your volunteer contribution via a bank transfer if needed, please email us!. Please DO NOT purchase general festival tickets via our website or our ticketing platform if you want to volunteer. Please only purchase the volunteer ticket.
Cancellations
Refunds will not be given if a cancellation is made within 2 weeks before the festival starts.
