Come and lend your voice and spirit to a group singing experience ranging from hand clappin’ to deeply moving. Max Maxwell will lead you in fun vocal games and you’ll learn a range of songs ranging from Te Reo to Pop to Gospel and more… We’ll do two sessions leading towards presenting a short set of songs onstage. ALL ARE WELCOME.
Workshop facilitator Max Maxwell is an Auckland based choir director who has run his own open to all community choirs for over 15 years and has workshopped throughout NZ, including at the Convergence Festival and Prana.

Max lead Heaven Bent Gospel Choir for 7 years then created his own, open to all, community choirs, SingForJoy and Village Song which he lead for 15 years. His passion is creating joy and community through group singing.
